1. Technology overview
Embibe is an Indian education technology company founded in 2012 by Aditi Avasthi and headquartered in Bengaluru; Reliance Industries became its majority owner in 2018. The company built an AI learning platform to prepare students for competitive exams and, through its Embibe School App, sells a learning-management solution directly to schools rather than only to individual learners.
The school product lets teachers build lessons from a library of videos, 3D models and quizzes, run classes online or offline through Embibe Meet, and assign AI-generated, difficulty-adjusted homework drawn from a bank of over 1.6 million curriculum-mapped questions. Built-in analytics show each student’s learning gaps and class-wide progress, and the platform has also been deployed with government bodies such as AICTE to reach residential schools serving tribal students.
