1. Technology overview
Aerobits is a Polish avionics company founded in 2017, tracing its technology back to 2015 research at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, and headquartered in Szczecin, Poland. It addresses the difficulty of integrating small drones into controlled airspace due to the lack of miniature, affordable detect-and-avoid and identification hardware.
The company designs sub-miniature ADS-B, FLARM, UAT and Remote ID modules, plug-and-play transponders such as TR-10 and TR-10i, and ground receiver stations that unmanned aircraft manufacturers embed as OEM components; its modules are deployed with operators and manufacturers such as Droniq, Zipline and BRINC across more than 75 countries.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
1. ADS-B/FLARM modules: Sub-miniature transponder chips under 25mm for detect-and-avoid on small UAVs.
2. Remote ID: idME series modules that broadcast drone identification for regulatory compliance.
3. Ground infrastructure: GS2L/GS3L ground stations and DRS receivers for airspace surveillance networks.
4. OEM integration: Components designed for direct embedding by UAV and avionics manufacturers.
5. Global deployment: Solutions used with operators and manufacturers across more than 75 countries.
