ICDREC (Trung tâm Nghiên cứu và Đào tạo Thiết kế Vi mạch)

ICDREC is a university-affiliated research center that designed Vietnam’s first domestically developed microcontroller chip (SG8V1) and continues to build a family of microcontroller IP for embedded and IoT applications. As an academic-industry hybrid, it combines chip R&D with formal training programs for design engineers.

The center licenses its chip IP and design know-how to local electronics manufacturers, functioning as a technology transfer bridge between Vietnam’s semiconductor research base and commercial hardware production.
