1. Technology overview
Finmo is a Singapore-based treasury technology company founded in 2021. It sells a treasury operating system that combines cash visibility, forecasting, cross-border payments and FX risk management in one platform for companies operating across Asia-Pacific and other markets, and it holds a Major Payment Institution licence granted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore in August 2023.
The platform connects bank and software data into a single dashboard, then adds cash visibility and forecasting, global currency accounts, local and cross-border payouts, AR and AP automation, and working capital optimisation including FX hedging and investment of idle balances. Finmo supports collections in more than 30 currencies and payouts to over 200 countries, and offers a white-label treasury management option for banks and financial institutions plus a partner programme for embedded treasury and payments. In February 2025 it raised a USD 18.5 million Series A co-led by Quona Capital and PayPal Ventures with Citi Ventures participating, bringing total funding to USD 27 million.
