1. Technology overview
Beamex is a Finnish company founded in 1975 that develops calibration equipment, calibration management software and related services for process instrumentation. It targets the replacement of paper-based calibration records with documented, traceable digital calibration workflows. The company reports more than 15,000 customers in over 140 countries and marked 50 years of operation in 2025.
The portfolio combines field calibrators such as MC6, MC6-Ex for hazardous areas and the MC6-T temperature calibrator with workshop systems including CENTRiCAL, the MC6-WS workshop calibrator, the POC8 automatic pressure controller and the ePG electric pressure pump. Calibration management software comprises CMX, the cloud application LOGiCAL, the CMX Analytics dashboard and the bMobile mobile application, so results move from instrument to database without manual transcription. Customers are process plants in energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and water utilities, together with accredited calibration laboratories.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
1. MC6 family: field, intrinsically safe and temperature calibrator versions share one user interface and act as communicator for smart transmitters.
2. CENTRiCAL: modular workshop calibration bench combining the MC6-WS calibrator, pressure control and accessories.
3. CMX: on-premise calibration management software that plans, records and documents calibration work.
4. LOGiCAL: cloud calibration management application for smaller installations, with the CMX Analytics dashboard for reporting.
5. bMobile: mobile application that carries calibration procedures and results to and from the field.
6. Services: accredited laboratory calibration, repair, training and support, with a subsidiary established in the Netherlands to cover the region.
