1. Technology overview
Graphmatech is a materials technology company founded in 2017 as a spin-off from Uppsala University, based in Uppsala, Sweden. The company was created to solve the industrial scale-up problem of graphene, developing a patented hybrid material called Aros Graphene that can be produced and integrated into existing manufacturing processes without the aggregation and inconsistency issues that limited earlier graphene materials.
Aros Graphene is supplied as a functional additive blended into polymers, metals and coatings to improve electrical conductivity, gas barrier performance, mechanical strength and friction reduction. Product lines include graphene-enhanced conductive polymers, gas barrier materials for hydrogen storage and packaging, graphene-reinforced metal composites and 3D-printing filaments, sold to manufacturers in the energy, packaging and industrial equipment sectors.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
1. Aros Graphene additive: Patented graphene hybrid material engineered for stable, large-scale industrial dispersion.
2. Conductive polymers: Graphene-enhanced polymer compounds that raise electrical conductivity without heavy metal fillers.
3. Hydrogen barrier materials: Gas barrier layers that reduce hydrogen permeation for storage and infrastructure.
4. Metal composites: Graphene-reinforced metals with improved strength-to-weight ratio for industrial parts.
5. 3D-printing filaments: ESD-safe, graphene-enhanced filaments developed with printing material partners.
6. Drop-in compatibility: Materials designed to integrate into existing manufacturing lines without new equipment.
