1. Technology overview
Braincube is an industrial AI company founded in 2007 in Issoire, France, by Laurent Laporte, Helene Olphe-Galliard and Sylvain Rubat du Merac, three manufacturing engineers previously with Valeo and Safran. It builds software for plant operators who need to keep production lines running at optimal conditions as raw materials, equipment wear and demand change shift to shift.
The platform continuously ingests process and machine sensor data, applies predictive algorithms to find current optimal operating points instead of relying on fixed setpoints, and pushes guidance directly to operators on the shop floor. Braincube reports serving more than 250 manufacturers in over 30 countries, including paper producer Norske Skog and building-materials makers CertainTeed and Owens Corning.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
1. Real-time optimization: predictive algorithms recalculate optimal setpoints as conditions change shift to shift.
2. Operator guidance: recommendations are pushed to shop-floor screens so operators can act immediately.
3. Process data aggregation: sensor and machine data from multiple lines are consolidated into a secure database.
4. Variability reduction: the platform flags deviations that erode yield and product quality.
5. Expert apps: pre-built applications target specific processes such as paper or building-materials production.
6. Global deployment: used across more than 250 manufacturers in over 30 countries.
