1. Technology overview
Egistic is a farm-management technology company founded in 2018 in Astana, Kazakhstan, that builds a cloud platform for grain and oilseed producers and the agronomic consultants who advise them. It was created to give Kazakh agribusinesses, most of which manage large dispersed land plots, a single system for planning, monitoring, and analyzing field operations.
The platform combines satellite vegetation indices, cadastral field data, and machinery telematics into modules covering remote field monitoring, GPS fleet tracking, equipment rental, weather data, warehouse inventory, and crop-rotation history. It currently monitors more than one million hectares for agricultural producers and consultants in the grain-growing regions of northern, eastern, and western Kazakhstan.
