1. Technology overview
OIC New Materials has developed a proprietary two-layer micelle nano-emulsion technology that encapsulates poorly-absorbed active compounds (such as curcumin) into nano-scale particles, significantly improving bioavailability compared to conventional formulations. The R&D process involved years of iterative experimentation to achieve consistent particle size distribution, a key technical challenge in nano-drug delivery.
As a certified science and technology enterprise since 2016, OIC represents an independent Vietnamese deep-tech success story in pharmaceutical nanotechnology, an area where the country previously relied almost entirely on imported formulation technology.
