About this challenge

Global Shinhan InnoBoost is an Open Innovation program designed to accompany startups and enterprises on their journey to scale up, reach over 5 million customers, and co-develop practical solutions with Shinhan – one of the leading financial groups in Vietnam.

This is not a competition, but a strategic collaboration opportunity with Shinhan Group.

What makes us different?

We openly share over 60 specific collaboration needs, ready to work with businesses to:

  • Provide clear insights into the real-world challenges the Group is facing

  • Co-build, integrate, and implement solutions with an experienced team of experts

  • Unlock opportunities to scale and expand into new business areas

Here’s the profile of partners we are looking to build the Shinhan Ecosystem with:

🔹 Type and maturity level:
Startups, SMEs, or mid-to-large-sized enterprises with products that have reached commercialization, showing clear growth signals with proven customers and revenue. Preference is given to teams with breakthrough MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and readiness to scale their business models.

🔹 Priority sectors and industries:
We focus on solutions in banking, finance, insurance, securities, and tech-driven industries such as Fintech & Beyond, AI & Data Intelligence, and Tech-Driven Innovation (including SalesTech, MarTech, E-commerce Tech, etc.). We’re especially seeking “golden bee” startups in WealthTech, DigiBank, InsurTech, and Security Tech for deeper collaboration.

🔹 Readiness to collaborate:
We expect startups to propose practical technical solutions or business models that can be integrated and co-developed with Shinhan’s ecosystem companies to unlock new market value, enhance operational efficiency, and improve customer experiences.

🔹 Team and legal requirements:
At least one member of the founding team or executive board must commit to participating throughout the program. The PoC (Proof of Concept) project team must have technical capacity, decision-making authority, and the agility to iterate on the solution. For international startups, having a legal entity in Vietnam and an on-site team during the program period is required.

If your startup or business is looking for a chance to collaborate with a leading financial group to develop, validate, and scale your solution in a real-world environment, then Global Shinhan InnoBoost is your ideal launchpad to accelerate and stand out.
