Techman Robot

Techman Robot Inc. was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. It designs and manufactures collaborative robot arms with a vision system built into the arm rather than added as a separate camera package, aimed at manufacturers facing labour shortages on assembly, inspection, packaging and machine-tending tasks. The company is part of Quanta Group, a Fortune Global 500 electronics manufacturer.

The TM AI Cobot series covers TM5-700, TM5-900, TM12, TM14, TM16 and TM20 arms. The newer TM AI Cobot S series raises repeatability to plus/minus 0.03 mm, lifts sixth-axis joint speed from 225 to 450 degrees per second and ships with an IP54-rated control box for harsher plants. Cells are programmed in TMflow 2 using click-and-drag flow blocks instead of robot code, with TMcraft vision handling defect detection and object recognition; add-ons such as TM Plug extend end-effector and peripheral integration.
