Therefore, in order to optimize the capacity of production lines to meet the needs of the market, many corporates are now looking for potential technological solutions.

Let’s update potential technological solutions helping to promote and enhance the capacity of production lines for businesses in the world with BambuUP!

CloudNC constantly develops technology to serve the purpose of realising their vision of autonomous manufacturing

Precision parts and their associated manufacturing processes perhaps aren’t something on your mind on a daily basis. Until they fail, break, and/or need to be replaced. From automotive and aerospace to consumer electronics to arms, defense, and information security, chances are, there’s a precision manufactured part somewhere involved. This is the core problem that makes CloudNC – a startup, as well as a software maker providing the brains and operating instructions in London develop a technology  enabling factories to autonomously manufacture precision parts.

CloudNC’s solution effectively replaces the ‘manual’ equation in the CNC manufacturing process and allows any user in any location to upload a 3D model of any desired part and the software will determine the tools required, how they will be used, and drafts the procedural code needed by a CNC machine in order to complete the task.

CloudNC has recently raised $45 million in a Series B funding round led by Autodesk and saw the participation of Lockheed Martin and British Patient Capital, alongside existing investors Atomico, Episode 1 Ventures, and QVentures. The Series B capital is slated to be used to further develop its service offering, particularly through a new partnership with Autodesk, as well as expand its Essex-based manufacturing facilities.

Ai Build makes its effort to help businesses improve manufacturing process and product quality with autonomous additive manufacturing

Ai Build – the Boeing-backed platform is disrupting the additive manufacturing industry on a global scale. It enables companies in the aerospace, automotive, construction, marine and energy verticals to fully automate the additive manufacturing process from plan to print, radically improving speed, quality, scalability, and application range.

Daghan Cam, co-founder and CEO of Ai Build said: “To enable faster adoption of additive manufacturing at industrial scale, we created a unique company culture and a cloud-based collaboration platform where our engineering and commercial teams, partners and end customers work closely on solving difficult real-world problems together.”

Ai Build has raised $3.2 million in funding led by ACT Venture Partners and existing investor SuperSeed. The new investment will accelerate Ai Build’s efforts to further develop its machine learning models for fully automated quality assurance and integrate its software into a wide range of industry standard 3D printers around the world. Besides, this startup will have a plan to scale their teams across the board to continue onboarding new partners and customers rapidly.

Expertly applying industrial machinery to automate manufacturing process with technological solutions from Triditive

Driven by the pandemic, changing patterns of consumption and slowdown in shipments, the supply chain is in a state of absolute chaos. According to The Bank of Spain, the supply chain crisis will cause losses of up to €16 billion to the Spanish economy.

Founded in 2016, the platform of Triditive has patented Amcell 3D printers, a large-format modular 3D printing cell designed for high-throughput automated production. The machine utilises both advanced robotics and machine learning-based software algorithms to facilitate the series 3D printing of metal and polymer parts on the shop floor. The startup recently opened its 2,000 m2 production plant in Asturias, where it is developing the 3D printers.

Triditive has raised €5 million in a new funding round. The round was led by an important Spanish industrial group, whose name has not been revealed by the company.

how.fm develops digital solutions in the workers-training process helping businesses enhance manufacturing productivity

In an industry that sees exceptionally high levels of staff turnover, employers in warehousing and distribution need to undertake huge effort when hiring, training and ensuring compliance for each employee. As online shopping and e-commerce grow, increasing competition for efficient staff can cost businesses a great deal.

Founded in 2019, how.fm aims to boost onboarding of manual labour by disseminating knowledge and optimising processes across enterprises. The how.fm software covers pre-onboarding, orientation, health and safety, job-related skills and work instructions.

Cologne-based SaaS training platform how.fm has raised $5.4 million in funding led by Join Capital, with previous investors Kindred Capital and Capnamic Ventures also participating. The newly infused capital will drive the company’s recruitment process to grow its commercial teams in Cologne and London. The company aims to expand into the manufacturing, retail and food industries as well.

Emitwise makes its effort to help businesses reduce their emissions in their manufacturing process with technological solution automating the calculation of carbon

With increasing pressure from investors, regulators, customers and stakeholders, businesses urgently need to understand their emissions and how to drive them down if they’re to remain competitive in years to come.

By automating the integration and calculation of carbon data, Emitwise – a London-based startup allows large multinationals to measure, track and reduce their emissions across their own operations – as well as that of their supply chains – in a cost-effective way.

According to Mauro Cozzi, CEO and co-founder, Emitwise, reducing carbon significantly is both a planetary and business imperative. “With businesses under ever-increasing scrutiny, the need for accurate and accessible emissions data is critical. Our platform democratises carbon information across a business’ supply chain so that decision-makers at every level can work towards all-out transformation.”

London-based carbon management startup Emitwise has closed a $10 million funding to accelerate the rapid decarbonisation of the economy. The Series A round was led by Xplorer Capital and saw the participation of Outsized Ventures, True Ventures, and ArcTern Ventures. The extra cash will enable further development of its AI-driven carbon accounting software and deeper partnership with the manufacturing sector.

FourJaw proactively supports small manufacturers to optimize their productivity with data analytics technology

Dubbed as a fitness watch for the manufacturing machinery, Sheffield-based digital manufacturing platform FourJaw designed a platform to work on every machine, from legacy manual lathes through to state-of-the-art machining centres. According to the company, the tool provides manufacturers with accurate and up-to-date information that enables the entire production team to work together to accurately time job durations, maximise uptime, unblock bottlenecks, and increase productivity.

The platform is now being deployed across the U.K. to precision engineering supply chains serving high-value manufacturing sectors, including aerospace, energy (oil, gas, civil nuclear, and renewables), medical, defence, automotive, motorsport, machine knives, and consumer goods.

FourJaw has secured £1 million in funding from the U.K. investor community, such as North Invest and SFC Capital and a grant from Innovate UK. The fresh capital will enable the company to accelerate its growth and support high-value-added manufacturers across the U.K.

Digitalise all logistics operations for manufacturers with technological solutions from GoRamp

GoRamp – a startup in Lithuania aims to enable manufacturing, retail and production companies digitise their logistics operations through sourcing, planning and monitoring transportation shipments. The startup claims its platform eliminates 70 percent of operational work, increases 20 percent of warehouse loading efficiency and decreases up to 25% logistics costs for its users.

Jevgenij Polonis, CEO GoRamp said: “The quarantine reality has facilitated the scale of business in Western European markets. Transportation volumes of production and trade companies have grown drastically during the lockdown and the resources required to meet customer needs have shrunk. Carrier costs are rising, and warehousing capacities are being exceeded. Thus, digital solutions are irreplaceable. Our platform helps customers eliminate more than two-thirds of operational manual labor, save time, streamline supply chain operations and do up to twice as much work with the available resources.”

Lithuania-based SAAS developer GoRamp has raised €1.5 million in funding from venture capital funds and the community of angel investors from companies such as UPS, Shopify and Infoscout. The new cash will be used to stock up expansion plans in Western Europe and the U.S.
