1. Technology overview
AGILOX is an Austrian intralogistics automation company headquartered in Linz, tracing back to an industrial-IT consultancy founded in 2009 and relaunched as an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) maker in 2017. It serves manufacturers who need to move materials between production lines and warehouses without fixed conveyors or a central traffic-control computer that becomes a bottleneck as the fleet grows.
Its AMR/AGV fleet — the omnidirectional ONE, load-lifting OFL, heavy-duty OCF and compact ODM models — carries loads from under 300kg up to 1,500kg and coordinates through a proprietary decentralized swarm technology in which vehicles negotiate routes directly with each other instead of through a central server. AGILOX reports more than 300 customers, including Siemens and BMW, running over 2,000 vehicles across more than 20 countries.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
1. Decentralized swarm control: vehicles negotiate routes directly without a central traffic computer.
2. Four vehicle classes: ONE, OFL, OCF and ODM cover loads from under 300kg to 1,500kg.
3. Omnidirectional movement: navigates tight production and warehouse layouts.
4. Fleet scalability: adding vehicles does not require reconfiguring the whole system.
5. Mixed-load handling: lifts, tows or carries depending on the model selected.
6. Proven industrial base: more than 300 customers and 2,000+ vehicles deployed worldwide.
