1. Technology overview
DUYTAN Recycling is a Vietnamese producer of recycled plastic resin whose plant in the Duc Hoa Ha Plastic Industrial Zone, Long An province, began construction in June 2019. It supplies converters and brand owners that need post-consumer recycled content meeting food-contact requirements, a material previously imported into Vietnam.
The 65,000 square metre site runs European recycling lines with a stated capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year and employs 580 people. Output covers rPET, rHDPE and rPP pellets, including bottle-to-bottle grades approved for drinking water and other food-contact packaging. The plant holds FDA and EFSA clearances for food-contact recycled resin alongside ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management certifications, and received LEED Silver certification in 2026.
