1. Technology overview
Enfuce is a Finnish card issuing and payment processing platform founded in 2016 and headquartered in Espoo, with further offices in Mariehamn and the United Kingdom and around 150 staff. Enfuce License Services Ltd is an electronic money institution authorised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority and Enfuce UK Ltd is an FCA-authorised electronic money institution (firm reference 993783). Enfuce is also a principal member of Visa and Mastercard, so banks and brands can launch card programmes without their own scheme membership or BIN.
The cloud platform issues and processes debit, credit, prepaid, fuel, EV-charging and dual-PAN cards, and adds BIN sponsorship, digital wallet tokenisation, spend controls, fraud and dispute management, multi-currency and multi-country processing, portfolio analytics, program management tools and white-label end-user apps. Customers include Pleo, Swile, Memo Bank, Qred, SEB Embedded, allpay and OKQ8, and Enfuce was awarded a contract by the State Treasury of Finland and Kela for prepaid disbursement cards.
