Innergex Renewable Energy provides four main types of products and services in renewable energy generation:
- Hydroelectric Facilities: Innergex operates hydroelectric power plants that harness the kinetic energy of flowing water to generate electricity. This includes run-of-river systems that have a low environmental impact and do not require large reservoirs
- Wind Farms: The company develops and manages wind farms, utilizing wind turbines to convert wind energy into electrical power. Innergex has significant investments in wind projects across Canada, the U.S., and Europe
- Solar Farms: Innergex invests in solar energy projects that use photovoltaic panels to capture sunlight and convert it into clean, renewable electricity
- Energy Storage Solutions: The company is also involved in energy storage, particularly through battery storage systems. These facilities help balance electricity supply and demand and ensure grid stability by storing excess power generated by renewable sources
