Lunit

Lunit is a medical artificial intelligence company founded in 2013 in Seoul, South Korea. The company builds deep-learning software that reads medical images and pathology slides to support earlier and more accurate cancer detection, addressing the shortage of specialist radiologists and pathologists in many health systems.

The Lunit INSIGHT suite covers chest X-ray analysis (INSIGHT CXR) and mammography reading in 2D and 3D (INSIGHT MMG, INSIGHT DBT), complemented by Volpara breast-density scoring tools. The Lunit SCOPE line applies AI to pathology slides for tumor microenvironment analysis (SCOPE IO) and biomarker quantification such as HER2 and PD-L1 (SCOPE IHC Suite). Lunit’s software has received FDA clearance and CE marking and is used at more than 10,000 sites across over 70 countries, mainly hospitals, imaging centers and pathology laboratories.

1. INSIGHT CXR: AI reads chest X-rays to flag abnormalities suggestive of lung disease.

2. INSIGHT MMG/DBT: AI reading of 2D mammography and 3D tomosynthesis for breast cancer screening.

3. Volpara density tools: automated breast density scoring to support risk stratification.

4. SCOPE IO: AI analysis of tumor microenvironment on pathology slides.

5. SCOPE IHC Suite: automated quantification of HER2 and PD-L1 biomarkers.

6. Deployed at 10,000+ sites in 70+ countries, with FDA clearance and CE marking.
