Marchesini Group

Marchesini Group is an Italian manufacturer of packaging machines and complete packaging lines for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. It began in 1974 when Massimo Marchesini built his first cartoning machine in a garage in Pianoro, near Bologna, and marked its fiftieth anniversary in 2024. Maurizio Marchesini serves as president and Valerio Soli was appointed chief executive in January 2025.

The catalogue spans primary packaging – blister forming, tablet counting, bottle and jar filling, tube filling, sachets and strips – and secondary packaging including cartoning, labelling, wrapping, case packing and palletising. Aseptic equipment covers vial and syringe filling, ampoule sealing, container inspection and leak testing, alongside process machines such as mixers, melters and vacuum emulsifiers.
