1. Technology overview
Novelic is a Serbian mmWave radar and embedded-electronics design house founded in 2013 and headquartered in Belgrade, with additional engineering offices in Novi Sad and Nis. The company was built to bring short-range 60 GHz and 24 GHz radar sensing, developed originally for automotive use, to industrial, robotics, healthcare and smart-building applications.
Novelic’s platforms combine radar sensor hardware with signal-processing and embedded software modules, including the ASPER and AGERA automotive radar families, the ACAM200 in-cabin child-presence sensor, and the ROAM sensor line for autonomous mobile robots. Its customers are Tier 1 automotive suppliers, industrial equipment makers and robotics OEMs that integrate the sensor modules and reference designs into their own products.
