Signzy is an identity verification and compliance automation company founded in 2015 by Ankit Ratan, Arpit Ratan and Ankur Pandey, headquartered in Bengaluru with offices in Mumbai, Gurgaon, New York, Warrenville in Illinois and Dubai. It automates the document and identity checks a bank performs when onboarding retail and corporate customers, work that is otherwise done by branch staff reading paper and comparing it against registries.
The product is delivered as APIs and no-code workflows: OCR extraction from government identity documents and business registration papers, face match and liveness with deepfake detection, video KYC, KYB including ultimate beneficial owner checks against government databases, AML screening against sanctions, PEP and adverse media lists, and ongoing transaction monitoring. Signzy states more than 1,800 financial institutions and technology companies use the platform and that it has verified over one billion users.
