Silverlake Axis

Silverlake Axis is a core banking software vendor founded in Malaysia in 1989 by Goh Peng Ooi and listed on the Singapore Exchange since 2003, moving to the SGX Mainboard in 2011. It licenses and implements core banking systems for financial institutions across ASEAN and Asia-Pacific, with development hubs in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The group reports over 370 customers in 80 countries, states that its systems run six of Malaysia’s nine anchor banks and two of the three largest Singapore-based regional banks, and has operated in Vietnam since 1999.

The flagship suite is Straight Through Banking, which provides a unified 360-degree customer view across retail and corporate entities, a deposit factory for building products without recoding, an integrated loan suite, and institutional and retail payment hubs, all exposed through a core-native API platform. MOBIUS is the open, ecosystem-oriented digital banking layer built for Open Banking. CatgWorkz, an independent AI subsidiary, supplies the Banking AI Computer with a modular VCOS architecture and CloudLink integration to legacy systems.
