Tabnine

Tabnine is an Israeli AI coding company founded in 2013 in Tel Aviv by Dror Weiss and Eran Yahav as Codota, renamed Tabnine in 2021, and acquired by Tricentis in July 2026 while continuing to operate under the Tabnine brand and product line for enterprise software development.

The Tabnine AI Coding Platform combines code completion, AI chat and agentic workflows with an Enterprise Context Engine that grounds suggestions in a company’s own codebase, plus zero data retention, air-gapped deployment and granular access controls for regulated environments. Customers include Ericsson, Canon, GE Healthcare, Samsung and Raytheon.
