Transmille

Transmille is a British manufacturer of electrical calibration instruments and calibration software, founded in 1997. It started as a commercial calibration service and then began developing and manufacturing equipment to solve problems it met in its own laboratory. The company states that it produces over 600 calibration instruments per year and ships to national standards laboratories, manufacturers and small calibration houses, with offices in the United Kingdom, the United States and India.

The product range covers multiproduct calibrators such as the 4610A and the 4000 series with touchscreen and built-in procedure mode, the 8100 series precision multimeters, the 3200B electrical test equipment calibrator for loop, RCD, PAT and insulation testers, references and standards, portable test equipment and the ProCal calibration software. Transmille also runs its own calibration service and issues certificates online. Customers are calibration laboratories, electrical test equipment manufacturers and industrial maintenance departments.

1. 4610A calibrator: multiproduct calibration of voltage, current and resistance on one touchscreen platform for laboratories and manufacturing.

2. 4000 series: multiproduct calibrator with a 7 inch touchscreen, built-in procedure mode and direct printing of test results.

3. 3200B series: dedicated calibrator for loop, RCD, PAT and insulation testers.

4. 8100 series: advanced precision multimeter covering a wide range of input parameters.

5. ProCal software: automates instruments, uses an SQL database, includes drivers for common instruments and calculates uncertainty to M3003 and GUM.

6. Service and support: in-house calibration service, online certificate access, training and a global distributor network.
