1. Technology overview
Voltta is the electromobility and energy technology arm of Eneva, one of Brazil’s largest integrated energy operators, headquartered in Sao Paulo. It was created to give businesses, condominiums, and franchise investors a way to deploy and manage EV charging infrastructure and free-market energy contracts without operating the technology in-house.
Voltta’s platform monitors chargers, automates payments, and manages tariffs, energy, and users through white-label iOS and Android apps and APIs that integrate with clients’ ERP, CRM, and payment systems. The company operates more than 200 active charging stations with over 200 plugs across 100-plus locations in 11 Brazilian states, and its network has completed more than 290,000 charging sessions and transacted over 5.6 GWh of energy for 35,000-plus platform users.
