1. Technology overview
Zeta is a card processing and banking technology company founded in 2015 by Bhavin Turakhia and Ramki Gaddipati, with US headquarters in San Ramon, California and large engineering operations in India. It sells to banks that run credit and debit card portfolios on decades-old processors and cannot change product terms, launch new card variants or expose real-time data without long change cycles.
Its cloud-native platform Tachyon provides transaction processing, card management, credit card account processing, loan management, real-time APIs and events, and administrative interfaces. Around it sit Neutrino for mobile and web banking experiences, Saturn for support and operations staff, Luminos for rewards and engagement, Elena for conversational customer service and Zeus for analytics. Zeta reports more than 25 million cards in market and live deployments in seven countries. Bank customers include HDFC Bank, which runs its PayZapp and Pixel products on Zeta, Sparrow in the United States and Pluxee.
