1. Technology overview
COCOVIE – founded in 2013, with a mission to enhance the value of products in the COCONUT ECOSYSTEM through a zero-waste supply chain from farm to consumer.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
COCOVIE ensures biodiversity in coconut farms and increases farmers' income by supporting the cultivation of high-value crops. COCOVIE strives to "preserve coconuts" in the Mekong Delta, helping to retain water and soil fertility, and minimizing flood risks.
Since its establishment, COCOVIE has consumed raw materials from over 1,000 hectares of coconut, absorbing approximately 75,000 tons of CO2. All production processes of coconut products within the COCOVIE ecosystem do not use chemicals that negatively impact the environment. COCOVIE applies biotechnology to convert waste from one process/industry into inputs for another process/industry.
Cocovie's business model revolves around building an ecosystem around the coconut by establishing a zero-waste supply chain management system and developing coconut product lines to meet the daily needs of modern lifestyles – including Food & Beverage, Cosmetics, Spa, Home & Family.
