1. Technology overview
Manolin is an aquaculture data-intelligence company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Bergen, Norway. It was built to help salmon farmers see disease risk before it spreads, at a time when fish-health records are scattered across separate production, feeding and laboratory systems.
Its Watershed platform reconstructs the history of each fish population from existing farm data sources and runs predictive models, including for pancreatic disease and infectious salmon anaemia (ISA), automatically alerting any farm within 60 kilometres of a newly confirmed outbreak. Harpoon, a companion product for feed and health suppliers, links product usage back to farm-level outcomes for research and commercial decisions. Reported customers include Kvaroy, Hofseth, Veramaris and Cargill.
