Kanmon

Kanmon is an embedded lending infrastructure company founded in 2021 and based in San Mateo, California. Its customers are vertical software platforms, marketplaces and financial institutions that serve small and medium businesses and want to offer working capital inside their own product without becoming a lender. Kanmon supplies the licence, the capital and the operating stack behind that offer.

Integration is through a single API that draws on the transaction, invoice and payroll data the platform already holds, so borrowers are pre-qualified rather than sent through a separate application. Kanmon underwrites, deploys capital, and runs compliance, servicing and collections under its own California DFPI Finance Lenders Law licence number 60DBO-144925, while the partner controls the user experience and branding. Four product types are available: working capital as term loans or revolving lines, invoice financing against outstanding receivables, buyer financing that pays a vendor while extending terms to the buyer, and revenue-based financing repaid as a share of monthly revenue. Partners shown on the platform include Avalara, Cin7, SPS Commerce, ShipStation Global, FieldPulse, Avionte, Cleo and Synchrony.

5. Full servicing: capital deployment, compliance, repayment servicing and collections are handled by Kanmon, not the partner.

6. Partner base: integrations with software and commerce platforms including Avalara, Cin7, SPS Commerce, ShipStation Global and FieldPulse.
